Relocation & Valuation
Barrington Hills is a village about 35 miles northwest of Chicago’s Loop. The 2020 census counted 4,114 residents across 27.62 square miles. ZIP codes 60010, 60021 and 60102 serve the village, which incorporated on July 5, 1957, to protect its five-acre minimum zoning. More than 5,000 acres of forest preserve sit inside the village. Residents who work in the Loop use nearby Metra stations on the Union Pacific Northwest Line, and Interstate 90 and U.S. 14 run near the edges of the village. Most students attend Barrington Community Unit School District 220, including Countryside Elementary on County Line Road, and some attend Community Unit School District 300. Buyers verify attendance boundaries with the district. For a home you own, the valuation uses recent sales, current competition, lot, condition, and architecture.
